I am who I am because of the jobs and experiences I acquired before my professional career. I was blessed with some very interesting tasks in my first jobs and that has made all the difference. Being a business owner, it is also an easy sell to hire an intern. Interns provide the company free/cheap labor and skills/talents that are valuable. Most of my summers were wasted! I learned so much about business, marketing, and office drama in my first internship, though, I felt like I had a degree in marketing when I left. Plus, it's just fun.
