Tennyson Takes the Warehouse
A lot of things have changed around BookFool.com in the past few months. We’ve moved to a new warehouse, we met thousands of new students through our expanded buyback network, and our website is about to undergo another seismic shift in functionality.
But the biggest change in my life has been the birth of my daughter in January 2009. If you’re keeping track at home, that’s two infant girls so far in ’09. Talk about a baby-friendly culture!
Yesterday, I brought my girl Tennyson to work with me. Here are a few pics from that visit:

Quick Update: June 2009
Here’s a quick look behind the scenes at BookFool.com this week. We’re currently hard at work perfecting our price comparison search engine, which will come online in the next two weeks.
We’ve also hired half of East Nashville to help list our inventory to sell online. Super-intern Eileen is cranking out some internal projects that we’ve been needing to get done for awhile. And Baby C is adjusting well to life outside the womb.
What are you up to this week?
We’ll talk more later. Here’s a parting shot of baby that mama and I took during a brief flash of artiness:
Meet the New Fool, Vol. 2
Last round of baby pics for a while, I promise! (Round 1 of photos here.)
I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
Meet the New Fool
Presenting C (not her real name), the newest Fool. We met her for the first time today at 12:11pm. 5 pounds, 6 ounces … a tiny one. Mom and baby are both doing great.
More updates to come as Dad’s brain returns to some semblance of functionality. For now, a few pictures.
And one big shout-out to the nurses of Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi. They made it happen!
